What to expect.
We look forward to meeting you.

Worship services are in-person and streamed on Facebook  You can also watch the services any time on our YouTube channel: First United Methodist Church of Morris – YouTube

Saturday Night Worship  5:30 PM

Sunday Morning Worship  9 AM
Also on Sundays, listen to the worship service on the radio by tuning in to 103.1 FM at 11 AM.

Sunday School 10:30 AM, Sundays (Sept-May)
Classes are offered for preschoolers through adults. Ask anyone–or check at our Welcome Center outside the sanctuary–if you’d like help choosing a class.

Children are always welcome to worship with us. Sometimes kids cry during the sermon or dance in the aisle during a song. We get it, and we’re grateful for the children who cry, laugh, and dance with us. We also offer nursery care during Saturday Night Worship, Sunday Morning Worship and during the Sunday School hour for newborn-2 years old. Learn more about children at FUMC.

What to Expect: There’s no dress code for worship, but sometimes it’s helpful to know what to expect. People tend to dress more casually for Saturday evening worship (think jeans, shorts, and T-shirts), while Sunday morning dress tends to be a bit more formal. We encourage you not to worry about what you’re wearing–you are welcome in whatever you choose to wear.

FUMC seeks to improve our accessibility so that all can participate fully in worship. Our sanctuary is equipped with a hearing loop. To take advantage of the loop, use the T-coil switch on your hearing aid or cochlear implant. Our church is also equipped with an elevator, located near the main entrance on Liberty Street.

Park in our lot on Liberty Street (look for the bright red awning over our main entrance), or use the plentiful street parking around the church.
